The suede/fabric uppers are amply padded and feel good at first. However, with wear they are too broad and boxy, making it difficult to get a really stable fit on the hill. Lack any real stiffness in the midsole, so will work best on easier terrain. They offer decent grip, though, and will keep feet nice and dry.

Verdict: A cosy, warm and comfortable boot best-suited to those with wide or chunky feet. Good on easier going, but there are better models out there for real rough stuff.
