A light boot, the Skiddaw II is suited to low-level walking thanks to its softer flex and fairly low cuff. In fact, it’s one of the softest out there – giving them good straight-from-the-box comfort. Inside they are cavernous, so possibly good for someone with wider feet. They did remain dry on the inside after a few particularly wet days. The Vibram sole handled most conditions well enough, although the softer flex does mean they struggle on rougher/higher ground.
