Brasher Krypton GTX

Excellent all-rounders, but the fit of the Krypton is not the best for stability or comfort. The sole unit is spot-on  with loads of lateral stiffness in the midsole yet plenty of flex at the toe where it’s needed, and the outsole gripped really well on a variety of surfaces. Plenty of shock absorption in the heel, too. And although they were never too heavy or clumsy on easy paths, the reinforcement at the toe and heel meant they could also be taken a bit higher without too many problems.
The Gore-Tex liner did its job throughout the test, and this was aided by a high ankle cuff. Quite warm so not so good in the height of summer.
