These three-season leather boots from Brasher are really comfortable at first, but a little sloppy when walking compared to some. The mid-height ankle cuff works well on low-level routes, but more lacing eyelets for a better fit would be good. Perform well with great shock absorption, a really grippy sole and Gore-Tex lining. More of a toe bumper would keep those great quality leather uppers looking good for longer, but the rolling action of the sole is great.
Verdict: A good quality, but pricey boot and a good all-rounder for UK hill walking. They will especially suit people with wide feet who want instant, out-of-the-box comfort.
