Plenty of padding makes them feel deceptively comfy at first, but on longer walks they really chafed. A good lacing system holds feet securely and they have a decent amount of ankle support. Good midsole support makes these decent all-rounders, although the amount of padding used means some may find them too warm in summer. The Vibram soles give good grip on all surfaces.

Verdict: A fairly lightweight boot with lots of padding that scores highly for instant comfort. I’d like to see a Gore-Tex lining for this price, however.
